Dogs on the territory

Dogs are welcome on the territory, provided they respect other visitors, the wildlife, and the environment.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, you must follow these rules:

  • Leash Policy: Your dog must be kept on a leash at all times and remain under your control.
  • Protecting Wildlife: Under no circumstances should dogs chase, disturb, or harass wildlife.
  • Site Cleanliness: You must pick up after your pet and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Building Access: Dogs are not permitted inside common buildings.
  • Behavior: Any dog displaying aggressive or disruptive behavior may be removed from the territory without notice or refund.

As the owner, you are entirely responsible for your animal and for any damage or incidents that may occur.


Parc national Nibiischii (Nibiischii National Park)

Please note that starting in 2026, access fees will be required for entry into Nibiischii National Park. These fees will apply specifically to the Lake Albanel campground (including the Témiscamie River sector) and the Pénicouane Bay campground (which also includes Lake Mistassini).

Although these sectors are now part of Parc national Nibiischii, the Nibiischii Corporation remains responsible for managing reservations for these sites.  Quebec Fishing Regulations

Please note that a modification to the Quebec Fishery Regulations affecting certain lakes in the wildlife reserve has taken place.

Here are the modifications of the daily catch and possession limits:

Waconichi lake: 2 lake trouts

Albanel lake: 2 lake trouts

                     15 brook trout or 2,5kg +1 whichever is reached first

Lemoine, De Maurès, Samuel-Bédard, Dompierre, Régnault, Frotet, Baie Moléon, 29565 and 29658 lakes: 6 walleye

Éva, Flanagan, France andLemarier lakes: 4 walleye
